Essential Skills -

Develop Test Plans, Strategies, and scheduling of test activity.

Develop testing strategy, test plans and detailed test cases Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment where effective communication is paramount Develop clean maintainable automated tests programmatically and leverage continuous integration Identify and leverage tools and automated solutions to test thoroughly and quickly in a repeatable fashion Raise clear detailed bugs, participate in bug discussions and follow them to resolution

Manual testing of test supporting applications

Always have a pulse on the quality of the applications you own and assist management with go, no-go decisions

Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture

Works with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via automated and manual testing

Responsible for developing manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements Executes test cases scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications

Monitors and tracks resolution of defects, coordinating with engineers in order to prevent, report, and resolve

Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies

Experience with testing of web services, business logic and enterprise integrations

Strong knowledge of testing principles, process and authoring of test documents thorough understanding of web technologies, such as but not limited to (HTTPS, HTML, Javascript, CSS, AJAX, XML, JSON, REST)

 

Responsible to create

End to-end Functional UI automation using Java Script with any of the following tools Cypress, Selenium and Playwright.

Thorough understanding of databases, SQL and scripting

Good understanding of OOP patterns experience with Java

Hands-on development of automated tests using tools like Selenium web driver, Selenium Grid, HP Quick Test Pro (QTP) is a plus and or similar tool

- Experience doing performance, security testing is a strong plus

Experience with Agile, other rapid application development methods, and Waterfall SDLC

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges

Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous under-defined problems

Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
