Position: SharePoint Developer
Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: 6-12 Months
Required education and/or experience:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 9 years of directly related experience
• Experience in financial services, specifically an international bank is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
• Strong SharePoint 2016 and O365 skills:
• OOB Features, Custom Solutions, Workflows, InfoPath Forms
• Client Side SharePoint Development (CSOM/JSOM/CSR layouts Etc.)
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• K2 and SharePoint Apps would be pluses
• Strong client side frameworks preferably AngularJS(1.x), Angular 2+(is a plus), typescript, KendoUI
• Experience developing solutions leveraging SharePoint REST and ODATA services
• Development of SharePoint Solutions/Apps in 2016/SharePoint Online farms
• Working Knowledge of
• SharePoint(SPFX) Framework for SharePoint Server 2016/Online
• Microsoft Flow
• Microsoft Power Apps
• PnP Patterns and Practices for SharePoint Server 2016/Online
• Microsoft Graph API
• Design and development experience with SharePoint themes, templates, master pages, page layouts and CSS
• Experience developing solutions using out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality using existing web part configuration, SharePoint designer, workflows, InfoPath Designer, C#, HTML, CAML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS3
• Experience developing custom features, web parts, timer jobs and other application solutions using Visual Studio to leveraging the SharePoint Object Model API, CSOM and JSOM
• .Net Core development including C#, ASP.Net (MVC, REST interfaces using Web API), ASP.Net Core (is a plus).
• Database Design and SQL Development.
• Entity Framework a plus.
• Ability to apply best practices using basic Design Patterns is desirable.
Soft skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Expected to interface with Business Users for requirements analysis, training, support, etc.
• Expected to give presentations and conduct training sessions for the Business Community
• Must be a team player who is willing to teach, learn and share
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
