Desired Experience
• Proven consulting / architectural experience (Min 3 Years) in Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure & GCP.
• Very good experience (Min 4 Years) on DevOps tools like Jenkins, GIT, Docker & Build Tools
• Multiple Enterprise Implementation of Tool Chains for fully automated CI&CD is mandatory
• Proven experience in Linux / Windows systems administration.
• Hands on experience in Release Management
• Proven production service trouble-shooting skills that span applications, systems and network.
• Managing teams of junior DevOps/SRE members and mentoring them.
• Demonstrated scripting skills like Shell/Python/Groovy
• Solid understanding of branching and merging concepts and strategies.
• Strong experience in web application concepts and standards.
• Understanding of operational principles e.g. capacity planning, monitoring and incident handling.
• Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST).
• Very good knowledge of Agile / Scrum principles.
• Extremely proficient in Configuration Management (articulation, communication and presentation).
• Problem solving skills & learning attitude.
Candidate should have hands-on working knowledge of at-least one items from each of the rows mentioned below.
Detailed Technical Experience
• Languages: Ruby, Python, Go, Shell, etc.
• Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, Salt etc.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Cloud Formation etc.
• Relational Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS, Aurora, CloudSQL etc.
• NoSQL: Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, Riak
• Version Control: Git, BitBucket, SVN.
• Appservers: Passenger (Nginx, Apache, Puma,JBoss.
• Load Balancers: Nginx/HAProxy/F5 BigIP.
• Collaboration & ALM: Trello, TargetProcess, Jira.
• Build Tools: Rake/Paver/Ant/Maven.
• Continuous Integration: Jenkins, VSTS, ThoughtWorks GoCD, Bamboo etc
• Log Management: Loggly, Sumologic, Splunk, ELK.
• Cloud Platforms: Amazon AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker Swarm, OpenShift
• Cloud Networking: VPC, Calico, Flannel etc.
• OS: RHEL/Debian and its derivatives. Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, etc.
