Job Description :
· An SME in application software design and development is needed to work with a team of highly motivated developers to implement a new web application.
· In depth experience in React and Node.js is required. Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and with an IDE such as Eclipse or VS Code is preferred.
· Expertise in building scalable and highly available systems is needed, including experience in creating microservices leveraging AWS Serverless architecture.
· Direct hands-on experience working on AWS services such as SES, S3 and Lambda is preferred, with additional time spent creating APIs using Lambda functions with DynamoDB as backend data store on AWS.
· Strong experience in creating and implementing middleware solutions, with extensive use of SOAP and RESTful web service frameworks.
· Candidates should have expertise in NoSQL databases, and in delivering applications, system customizations and improvements leveraging those databases.
· Previous experience with bring part of an XP team focused on rapid development is beneficial.
· Insurance background is preferred.
