Salesforce.com Developer and Configuration (APEX, Visualforce, Workflow) Engineer
Job Overview: As an experience Salesforce.com Developer with SAP Concur, you will contribute to the design and implementation of new features for SAP Concur's growing employee base. You will be a professional liaison to our business groups, helping them define and prioritize solutions that will integrate within the Salesforce.com platform as well as participate in the hands-on design and implementation of these solutions. This position additionally requires hands strong analysis and project coordination skills and the ability to execute, including a deep programmatic knowledge of Salesforce.com, APEX, JavaScript, Visualforce, AJAX, HTML, XML, Java, Web Services, among others. There may be times where resource is required to install managed packages, develop integrations with other systems, and perform extended technical duties beyond the Salesforce.com platform to integrate data and drive system automation.
Responsibilities:
* Will support and manage requests from a diverse customer group, spanning all of Concur, providing business consultation and driving/prioritizing internal work products within the Salesforce.com platform.
* Perform as part of a growing agile team, driving and managing small projects and enhancements.
Innovate and drive the technical development of knowledge internally around the Salesforce.com and supporting technologies platform.
* Development and implementation of programming interfaces and custom integrations from a variety of different app-exchange offering within the Salesforce.com platform.
* Engage and partner with business analysts, quality assurance team members, project managers, and senior leadership as required.
* Deliver development commitments to specification (following user story acceptance criteria format) within specified and agreed upon timelines.
* Perform technical grooming and design analysis following agile scrum practices.
Education, Experience & Training required:
* BSCS, BSEE, or equivalent years of work experience.
* Experience working in a structured change and release management as well as scrum methodologies for managing high volume work requests.
* Experienced with debugging methods such as anonymous code block execution and working/writing to system and developer logs
* 7 years development experience in a SaaS based industry, including business process change management expertise
* Deep domain knowledge of Salesforce.com Security Model, Approval and Custom Workflow creation.
* 10+ years in a related software development role.
* 7+ years Salesforce.com development experience, including programming with APEX, JavaScript, XML, Web Services, SOAP and REST APIs and related technologies.
* 10+ years experience with object oriented programming languages such as Java, C#.
