The Role…

Our client is looking for a contract Test Engineer with Salesforce testing experience.  Our mission is to analyze risk, explore unknowns, and give confidence to decision makers.  Simply stated, quality is our passion.

 

The Duties…

·         Conduct deep technical analysis and testing of Salesforce implementation and integration

·         Participate in business requirements reviews

·         Work with systems analysts and developers to fully test application changes and integrations

·         Create, execute, and analyze manual test cases based on business requirements and acceptance criteria

·         Active participant in all scrum ceremony events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and team retrospectives)

·         Perform various types of testing including functional, system integration, regression, and exploratory

·         Accurately report defects that are found during testing

·         Collaborate with other testers, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders as needed

·         Follow Choice Hotels Test Engineering policies and processes in day-to-day tasks

 

Skills You Have…

·         Bachelor's degree in CIS, Business, Engineering, or Mathematics and 1-2 years professional QA experience (3+ years professional QA experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

·         Experience with Salesforce testing is required

·         Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and core software testing concepts

·         Capable of understanding software architectural concepts, workflows, etc.

·         Experience working in an agile scrum setting using 2-week sprint cycles is highly desirable

·         Experience with creating technical documentation applicable to an agile development environment

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Capable of communicating with project team members, business stakeholders, and vendor partners is required

·         Ability to work both independently and as a member of a Scrum team environment is a must
