Position: Active Directory with Office365

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Job Description:

  • Architect, design and implement solutions for AD infrastructure for efficiency and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Monitoring and performance tuning for both AD and Windows operating systems including connectivity, synchronization, replication, net logon, time services, FSMO roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, AD Backup and Recovery, ADFS, certificate authorities and trust relationships.
  • Provide operational guidance and serve as a central escalation point for all Microsoft server related technologies such as, but not limited to: Active Directory, Group Policies, AD Trusts, AD Sites and Services, Microsoft Identity Manager, PKI, and DFS.
  • Manage client's Enterprise Active Directory Infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain AD Forrest, Domains, and supporting systems including PKI certificate infrastructure
  • Maintain AD security posture, address security gaps, and recommend and implement AD best practices under general direction, formulate and define specifications for complex operating system software, applications or modify/maintain complex existing system applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
  • Responsible for system applications dealing with the overall operating systems and technically sophisticated network connectivity configurations that support server communication and data transfer to central storage devices.
  • Coordinate routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure Active Directory
  • Excellent knowledge of enabling applications for Azure SSO and multi factor authentication
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AD Integration with Microsoft O365 Cloud/Microsoft Azure Active Directory
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory 2012R2/2016, including DHCP, Client, DNS and WINS
  • Excellent knowledge of federated identity systems (Microsoft ADFS)
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/2016 Operating systems
  • Good understanding of the ITIL frameworks along with incident, problem and change management processes and procedures.

 

Required Experience:

Must have 9+ years of experience managing all aspects of Active Directory as follows:

• Server Operating Systems support and troubleshooting

• Active Directory Design, Architecture, Build and Implementation

• Schema, FSMO Roles, Domain Trust

• Sites and Services, Security, DNS, DHCP, Replication

• Group Policy, ADFS & SSO
