Salesforce Engineer and BSA positions - Bay Area, CA(Only Bay area candidates can be preferred)

Position 1:
Role: Salesforce Engineer

Bay Area, CA(Only Bay area candidates can be preferred)
Apttus Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)/Configure-Price-Quote(CPQ) knowledge is a differentiating plus.
Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate must have extensive, hands-on implementation experience with Java and/or Salesforce and should have a working understanding of otherenterprise applications like SAP ECC, SAP HANA, TIBCO.

  • The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate/explain ideas well and obtain buy in from different stakeholders (Scrum Team, business, onshore/offshore).

  • The successful candidate will need to work closely with other teams in IT including Enterprise Architecture, Program Management, Business Solution Analysts, QA, Release Management, and Production Support.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for working with stakeholders to provide strategic technical guidance and direction for Salesforce implementations and associated integrations.

  • The successful candidate will be/learn to be a DevOps evangelist.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have 10 years of overall IT experience with an emphasis on Java and Salesforce development.

  • The candidate should have experience in building enterprise grade real time and/or batch interfaces, and should have experience working with the latest integration and data replication technologies like - REST/JSON and Streaming APIs.

  • The candidate should have experience in buildingintegrations between cloud-based and on-premise enterprise applications.

  • Salesforce Force.com Certification (DEV 401,501) is preferred.

  • Candidate must have proven ability to design technical solutions that integrate business processes across disparate systems.

  • Experience with Salesforce Outbound Messaging Framework (OBM) and interoperability with Java and ColdFusion clients.

  • Strong relational database and data modeling skills, preferably experience with writing stored procedure, functions and triggers.

  • Proficiency in SOAP-based web services, SQL, Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript.

  • Experience with MVC frameworks.

  • Experience with Salesforce1 and Open CTI

  • Strong Object Oriented programming skills with Java is preferred.

  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams is a must.

  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environments is a plus.

  • Experience with development, source control and deployment tools like Force.com IDE's, ANT, Perforce/GitHub and Jenkins is preferred.

Position 2:
Role: Salesforce Business System Analyst

Bay Area, CA(Only Bay area candidates can be preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Understands and translates the Sales business strategy, business goals, and business processes into a solution.

  • Maintains and continuously improves Sales processes enabled by integrated Salesforce.com and related Sales and Marketing cloud and on-premise enterprise applications.

  • Directs configuration within Salesforce.com and other Sales & Marketing applications

  • Prepares specifications for system enhancements and customization, provides training and leadership to super-users, performs system admin role, maintains data standard models, manages user security.

  • Serves as a Sales technology thought leader for assigned business functions and advises business partners accordingly.

  • Interface with business users and technical staff to translate business user requirements into technical documentation such as use cases, process diagrams, functional design documents, and other system documentation required by project lifecycle methodologies.

  • Analyze business requirements, explore and evaluate various options, configure the application to meet requirements, and coordinate testing with QA and User Acceptance testers.

  • Interface on a day to day basis with other solution analysts, business users, engineers and IT managers to support business operations.

  • Be a major player in business process improvement and a catalyst for building mature processes.

  • Develop business specifications for application development or enhancements and be the key interface between users and engineers.

  • Provide Level 3 end user support as called upon by the Production Support Team.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 10 years writing IT requirements experience in a complex work environment

  • Minimum of 5 years performing specification and analysis of enterprise Salesforce.com and related projects for Sales & Marketing.

  • Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing business processes and integrations between hosted services and on-premise enterprise applications.

  • Minimum 7 years working in IT with SDLC

  • Proficiency in documenting Use Cases, Requirements, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams in a technical environment

  • Experience writing test plans and test cases

  • Experience, leading creating and working with detailed architecture diagrams and design tools

  • Experience participating in JAD/RAD/AGILE /Waterfall scrum sessions
