Position: API Developer

Location: MA

Duration: 6 months

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Our core applications expose Dana-Farber's clinical and research data warehouse for use in research, analysis and visualization with the goal of improving cancer care and patient outcomes. You will design, development and test Restful APIs used for genomics and clinical data transitioning.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of experience developing web service APIs including direct responsibility for API design
• Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement restful APIs
• Provide end to end SDLC contribution to build web services with emphasis on unit testing and quality
• Conduct testing of APIs using testing frameworks
• Provide continuous integration and delivery with peer code reviewing
