Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wireless Engineer to design, implement, and support wireless network infrastructure across our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of RF technologies, WLAN standards, and network security, with hands-on experience in deploying and troubleshooting enterprise wireless solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy wireless networks, including site surveys, RF planning, and capacity analysis.
• Configure, manage, and optimize wireless LAN controllers (WLCs), access points (APs), and wireless management platforms.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues using tools such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, or Wireshark.
• Ensure secure wireless access using industry best practices (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support voice, video, and data over wireless networks.
• Evaluate and recommend wireless technologies and vendors to support business goals.
• Maintain documentation on network designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay current with emerging wireless technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements (e.g., 5G, Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, CBRS).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in wireless network engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Wi-Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and wireless security standards.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, or similar wireless infrastructure.
• Experience with wireless site survey tools (e.g., Ekahau, NetSpot).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and enterprise network architectures.
