🚀 About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Wi-Fi Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of Wi-Fi architecture for CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) products. If you thrive in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments and are passionate about wireless networking and performance optimization, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact.
You will work at the intersection of product design, testing, and deployment, ensuring superior wireless performance and end-user experience.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Wi-Fi architecture for CPE devices, with a focus on performance, scalability, and stability
- Optimize RF parameters and antenna configurations to enhance signal strength and customer experience
- Develop test strategies and set up simulation labs mimicking real-world traffic and usage conditions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and best practices
- Analyse Wi-Fi behaviour across devices and proactively resolve performance or connectivity issues
- Lead defect reproduction and resolution in both lab and field environments using automation
- Keep up with latest standards, trends, and test methodologies (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF)
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects
✅ Key Qualifications:
- Solid experience in WLAN protocols: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be
- Deep understanding of Wi-Fi security: WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X
- Hands-on with Wi-Fi extenders, mesh networks, and steering protocols (802.11k/v/r)
- Familiarity with deployment automation and scripting in a DevOps environment
- Experience designing and validating architecture for testability and performance
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and experience with quality assurance methodologies
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with development, product, and test automation teams
- Passionate problem-solver with a bias toward execution and continuous improvement
