Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled AUTOSAR Engineer with strong hands-on experience in MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer) development and integration for a contract role in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, developing, and testing low-level drivers and ensuring seamless integration within the AUTOSAR architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate MCAL drivers based on AUTOSAR architecture.
Configure AUTOSAR stack modules using tools such as DaVinci Configurator, EB tresos, or equivalent.
Collaborate with hardware teams to understand microcontroller specifications and support hardware-software integration.
Perform unit testing and debugging of MCAL modules.
Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR standards and customer-specific requirements.
Participate in code reviews, integration testing, and issue resolution.
Document software design, implementation, and testing activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience working with AUTOSAR architecture, with specific experience in MCAL.
Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as Infineon, NXP, Renesas, or STMicroelectronics.
Proficient in C programming and embedded software development.
Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (DaVinci Developer/Configurator, EB tresos).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using tools like Oscilloscopes, Lauterbach, CANoe/CANalyzer.
Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C.
