Looking for a Java Full Stack Developer (70% - Backend & 30% - Front End) with expertise in Restful services, Java 8+, SpringBoot, Angular 9+, Kafka/RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ and JUnit/Cucumber (Cucumber is preferred).

Need someone with experience in DevOps tools like Docker, Gradle or Jenkins

Need someone with good experience in SQL skills.

Someone with strong communication skills (both verbal and written) – Need someone who can collaborate with team members and who can speak during the meetings (Not looking for someone who can take the requirements and quietly do his/her work)

Someone with previous experience in Financial/Mortgage industry is highly preferred but not required.

Job Description:
The Business Engineering (BE) group, within the Investments and Capital Markets Business Technology Office (I&CM BTO), is responsible for delivering and managing technology solutions that support the entire I&CM division. BE works closely with our customers across the organization to develop/maintain solutions and infrastructure that enhance and streamline business processes, while reducing risk. We also support critical data-centric infrastructure and processes vital to I&CM. The candidate will work closely with BE team members to modernize a trading application used by I&CM front office.

 

Requirements:

The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired, as well as 12+ years of system applications development experience.

 

The following experience is required:

• Experience in design, development, integration and testing of Java-based software solutions.

• Demonstrated knowledge of building RESTful APIs and front-end functionality.

• Extensive experience with relational databases such as Postgres, Sybase and MSSQL.

• Experience in Java-based unit testing to ensure application code functions as expected.

• Knowledge and experience in full Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and best practices.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on process criticality.

• Knowledge of docker/containerization is a plus.
