Job Title: Platform Engineering & Architecture

Location: New York, NY - onsite 3 days per week

Duration: 6 months

 

Primary Skill Set:

Platform Architecture Design and Engineering Practices, including but not limited to:

• Host Platforms: Webfarm, Treadmill, MKS

• Compute: VM, Containers, Serverless

• Storage: Object, File

• Databases: SQL, NoSQL, Time-Series

• Messaging: Kafka, MQ

• Observability: Logs, Metrics, Traces

• Security: Authentication, Secrets, Audit Trails

• Networking: Ingress, Service Mesh, DNS

 

Key Responsibilities:

"To design, engineer, and govern scalable, secure, and resilient platform architecture that ensures engineering and operational excellence and supports the evolving needs of the business through reusable patterns, automation, and architectural best practices."

• Create and govern infrastructure platform catalog

• Enforce architectural patterns and standards

• Resiliency design & failure domain definitions

• Develop infrastructure design solutions in collaboration with CPS core engg team

• Leverage SRE organization embedded in application teams to scale for the PEArch charter

• Keep rest of the CPS org apprised on what is coming soon in terms of big impact deliverables
