Python with Snowflake Tech Lead

Chicago IL (Onsite)

12+ months contract

 

Rate- $60 to $65/hr on C2C

 

Mandatory skill- Python Lead with Snowflake & Trading , I-Capital (Investment Banking domain exp like Fidelity Investments etc.)

 

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Python programming, including developing ETL pipelines and automation scripts.
• 5+ years of experience working with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse solution.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and querying in Snowflake.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core Certification or similar).
• Experience with data orchestration and scheduling tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks and data science concepts.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
