Cloud Architect
Location: Lansing, MI, United States
Visa- All visa except H1b

Hybrid- Local only of Lansing or within the distance of 2hrs.

JD:

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the development and application of technical architecture for cloud systems.
Analyze technical and business challenges, recommending strategic solutions for enhanced productivity.
Ensure the proper integration of the CEPI Cloud infrastructure with various software packages and services.
Provide expert guidance and leadership to application development teams on aspects of usability, security, and more.
Collaborate with department managers and technology oversight teams.
Drive the migration to a service-based architecture, crafting and maintaining architectural models.
Evaluate and integrate vendor software into existing systems following best practices.
Actively research and promote emerging technologies and standards.

The Perfect Candidate Has:
A thorough understanding of complex cloud application development environments.
Exceptional communication skills and an ability to build strong client relations.
Considerable knowledge of cloud application development frameworks and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, .NET, HTML, XML, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
Skill in designing, creating, and maintaining distributed applications through a microservices architecture.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience in delivering clear documentation and effective presentations.
Adeptness at troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure.
Self-motivation and the ability to independently drive projects from start to finish.

Essential Duties Include:
Design client enterprise-level application architecture, middleware, and service components.
Develop and manage application architecture policies and procedures.
Coordinate with technical resources for application design, implementation, and integration.
Ensure compliance with DTMB Strategic Plan and development methodology best practices.
Participate in external development methodology surveys, promoting cutting-edge technologies.
Act as the IT Architect Subject Matter Expert on integration projects.
Oversee the security and validation of application components and services.
