JOB TITLE: SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
We are part of Amazon Customer Service (CS), developing and migrating contact center solutions to AWS Connect globally. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, supporting operational tasks like OnCall ticket resolution and deployment pipeline management. Preferred candidates should have over 5 years of experience in API design and development, handling complex production dependencies, and recommending technical solutions. Strong skills in AWS CDK, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, React JS, and various AWS services (DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Lambda, Kinesis, IAM, API Gateway, Serverless development) are essential. The position focuses on creating robust cloud-based solutions for data management , configuration management and analytics solutions for Amazon's Worldwide Customer Support platform.
Responsibilities:
• Design and Develop Cloud Solutions: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS CDK and other relevant AWS technologies. Develop serverless applications and microservices with AWS Lambda, AWS- Fargate, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
• Front-end Development: Build front-end applications using React JS and integrate them with APIs.
• Data Management: Implement and manage data storage solutions using AWS DynamoDB and OpenSearch, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. Leverage AWS Kinesis, SQS, and SNS for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Analytics: Utilize AWS OpenSearch to implement powerful and efficient analytics capabilities. Implement analytics solutions using AWS services for monitoring and reporting, including experience with CloudWatch.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Design and implement IAM policies to ensure secure access controls and permissions for cross-account service references.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript) and CloudFormation. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure code quality and security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Document architectural designs, implementation details, and best practices.
• Operational Support: Triage and resolve tickets, maintain SLAs for initial response and resolution, resolve software risks reported by automated client tools, and identify and implement software or process changes to improve customer experience and reduce operational effort.
• Voice Contact Service Development: Construct and implement new feature enhancements to meet or improve parity with the existing customer experience using AWS technology.
• C2C Configuration Management Development: Design, construct, and implement new feature enhancements to replace the current system due to its high coupling with GACD, using AWS technology.
• Develop data management solutions and services in accordance with Data Compliance & Security protocols Like GDPR, DSAR
