Sr. JAVA Lead Developer

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Onsite - Hybrid - 3 days in client office

 Top 3 skills required for this role:

1. Java/J2ee

2. Spring/ MS/ AWS

3. Cloud Technologies, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes etc.

 Job Description/ Responsibilities

• A strong experience in SDLC delivery in Agile methodologies
• At least two years experience in Java 11 and at least one year experience in Java 17 development is a must
• Must have developed micro services, packaged into AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service and / or Elastic Container Service and deployed to EC2 instances
• Should have experience in writing Terraform scripts and deploy in AWS production environment
• Should have experience in at least one relational database management system. (Prefer Oracle and / or MySQL)
• Experience in REACTIVE java programming, ReactJs and Angular frameworks is an added advantage
• Experience in Agile software development methodology and practices with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.
• Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles.
• Demonstrated experience with SCM tools such as GIT, Jenkins
• Experience with application development on Java, J2EE, Spring, Java Design Patterns and JUnit.
• Java, Spring, NodeJS, SQL, JAVA 8, Spring boot, microservices
• Knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle/SQL Server, SQL
• Knowledge of Web service technologies including SOAP/REST.
• Strong working knowledge of IntelliJ, Maven and Tomcat.
• Any working knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Cloud Foundry, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes etc.
