Job Title: Azure Databricks Developer

Location: Zion, IL

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Databricks Developer to design, build, and maintain data architectures on the Databricks platform. You will be responsible for ingesting data from various sources, transforming it for analysis, and supporting our back-office SQL databases. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth data flow and supporting downstream systems.

 

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Lakehouse/Delta live table architectures on Azure Databricks.
• Build data pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources and transform it for consumption by downstream applications.
• Provide support for existing back-office SQL databases, including troubleshooting and query optimization.
• Coordinate the deployment of data pipelines and other Databricks applications.

 

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience as a developer, with a strong focus on big data technologies.
• Proven expertise in Azure Databricks, including experience with building, testing, and deploying data processing applications.
• Experience with data ingestion and transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is a plus.
• Experience with deployment coordination methodologies is preferred.

 

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Scala.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
