Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid mode – 2 days a week)

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Spark Kafka Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on skills in Spark and Kafka, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in high volume, high throughput data engineering for batch and real-time integration on Hadoop. Knowledge and experience with AWS is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Spark and Kafka applications for batch and real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data engineering solutions.
- Optimize data processing pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Spark and Kafka applications.
- Utilize tech skills such as Spark, spark streaming, spark SQL, Scala (Java/Python), Kafka, XML, and its constructs.
- Apply expertise in in-memory and distributed process data engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Spark and Kafka development.
- Strong understanding of high volume, high throughput data engineering for batch and real-time integration on Hadoop.
- Familiarity with AWS and its services.
- Proficiency in Spark, spark streaming, spark SQL, Scala (Java/Python), Kafka, XML, and its constructs.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
