Business need/background
We are seeking an experienced full-stack .NET developer to augment their software development team. The primary need is for the developer to enhance a computer system that tracks truancy referrals from schools called BASIL.

Work to be performed
The developer will be involved in all aspects of making enhancements to an existing truancy application including analysis, architecture, database structure, UI design, reporting, documentation, and implementation. The developer will work with both the customer and our IT area.

Expected deliverables:
Create, build, and implement enhancements to the BASIL application.
Manage project requirements, progress, and results
Create and design the technical documentation for the project
Train power users on the new program

Required skills:
Demonstrated experience in creating robust applications and reports using Microsoft .NET and SSRS technologies
Ability to produce readable and maintainable code and components
Communication skills to transition to the internal development team.
Experience with:
Creating and maintaining desktop and web Microsoft .NET applications
Microsoft SQL Server Database
Crystal Reports / DevExpress
Excellent communication skills to work directly with business users to gather, prioritize, and validate requirements
Technical documentation
