Role: APPWORKS DEVELOPER

Location: Remote

AppWorks Developer | TELECOMMUTE

 

·         Candidate MUST have in-depth experience with migrating Appworks from old to new version (This team is migrating from Cordys v10 to Appworks v16)

o Cordys knowledge is not required - just needs exp with migrating from old to new version of Appworks

·         Candidate will be leading this migration - lead experience is a +++++

·         Linux installation experience (Manager is okay with Windows Installation too)

·         Feedback: manager loved this candidate, however, felt that he only possessed user maintenance experience vs. in-depth Appworks version migration knowledge

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software

·         Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality

Required Qualifications:

·         4+ years of coding experience with Cordys/Java

·         Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile and DevOps

·         Experience working with at least one of the following: continuous integration / continuous delivery tools, REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, IaC, public / private cloud, application observability and/or messaging / stream architecture

·         Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Understanding of distributed architecture design principles

·         Experience working in Unix/Linux environments

·         Experience implementing large-scale/high performance componentized web applications across multiple technology domains

·         Experience in the health care industry
