Role: Python Developer with DevOps

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Python Development:

·       Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications.

·       Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code using best practices.

·       Troubleshoot and debug software defects and issues.

·       Collaborate with other developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

·       Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

·       Stay updated with the latest Python libraries, frameworks, and industry trends.

 

DevOps:

·       Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

·       Automate build, deployment, and release processes to ensure efficient software delivery.

·       Monitor, optimize, and scale applications to enhance performance and reliability.

·       Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.

·       Work closely with the operations team to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for software development and deployment.

Collaboration and Communication:

·       Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·       Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on project progress, issues, and recommendations.

·       Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Requirement:

 

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Python Developer, preferably with exposure to DevOps practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
