Job Description:
We are seeking a Java Engineer with experience in Apache Druid to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining large-scale data ingestion pipelines, designing and implementing data schemas, and creating and optimizing complex queries in Druid.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data ingestion pipelines for high volume data sources.
- Implement and maintain data schemas in Apache Druid
- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot issues in Apache Druid
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to complex data problems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data and analytics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- 1+ year of experience in Apache Druid development and administration
- Experience with distributed systems and data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Hadoop, and Spark
- Experience with data modeling and database design
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
