Job description: This is a hands-on Security position where the individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and implementation of network security solutions. In addition, this engineer will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd level support for all network security issues or outages. Ensures the smooth operation of the infrastructure in order to provide maximum security, performance and availability. Maintains close vendor relationships to support current technology solutions and provide roadmap strategies for all Security systems. The candidate also must be flexible to work in 24 * 7 environments. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain Checkpoint and Fortinet firewall infrastructure. Provide Architecture, Design, and Implementation for all Internet and Extranet Firewall connectivity to meet the business and InfoSec requirements Manage projects related to implementing Cyber Security tools and products Support F5 LTM/GTM load balancers and reverse proxy with WAF configuration Manage McAfee Web Gateway proxy configuration, policy and ruleset configurations Build, configure and support Pulse Secure SSL VPN Strong knowledge of Citrix Netscaler ADC configuration Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments of all network and security devices Manage and perform vulnerability remediation of all network and security device, both software and hardware Create network topologies diagrams and record details for troubleshooting purposes Perform other Network Security tasks as assigned Track and manage licenses status for renewal, upgrade, and compliance of all Network Security devices Working knowledge of InfoBlox tool (IPAM) Resolve operational incident tickets (P1/P2/P3) or service request as per the agreed SLA Follow the required policies and procedures for the incident, problem and change management Monitoring Management Provide guidance and support to team members Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience Experience Should have enterprise security experience. Should have experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet Firewalls, F5, etc. McAfee Web Gateway experience a plus Required Skills: Hands on experience with Checkpoint, Fortinet firewalls including mgmt. server/console Understanding of McAfee Web Gateways Experience with F5 LTM/GTM Load balancers and reverse proxy solutions Experience with Pulse Secure Access Gateway Hands on-experience with Citrix netscaler ADC Load balancers Good understanding network Routing and Switching Complete understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP Working experience with Cisco Nexus switches 9k, Catalyst 9k, 6800, 4500, etc. Great troubleshooting skills utilizing TCP dump, Wireshark, etc… Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Infoblox should be additional advantage. Should be involved in P1/P2 critical incidents and also mentoring the team. Preferred/Desired Skills: Knowledge of NIST standards Strong analytics skills Prior financial services or other highly regulated industry experience Strong working knowledge of security infrastructure and how they are used to maintain a strong security posture
