Job Description:
Experience must involve at least 5 years in project management using Agile methodologies and related tools (e.g. JIRA, Business Objects). Experience must include MS Office Suite.
Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Good understanding of S/4 HANA
Program Manager will help shape the solution from the requirement phase through to go-live.
Provides leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time and project quality criteria.
Ensures adherence to defined Product life cycle management practices, provides Program Management mentoring, performs Gate Reviews and reinforces the enterprise knowledge management through the communication of lessons learned and best practices development.
Responsibilities
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
Coordinate cross-project activities
Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
Apply change, risk and resource management
Assume responsibility for the program's people and vendors
Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
Resolve scope creep issues
Prepare reports for stakeholders
Manage cross-team projects through indirect authority. Drive the planning and execution of releases from concept to GA.
Understand and assess critical paths and dependencies for developing and shipping products and facilitate discussions between delivery team of Product Managers, Engineering, QE and other functional teams throughout all the release phases.
Build and run, with the team, the release/Sprint master plan (schedule, dependencies, risks, etc.). Use your technical background and product knowledge to proactively identify risks, issues and drive their resolution.
Be the expert on release life cycle processes and champion process best practices, metrics and high-quality standards with your delivery team
Make constant assessment of feature pipeline, work done and work quality to support decision making on release delivery schedule. Take product functionality live after driving compliance and other launch activities.
