Role Title: Python Test Engineer

Hiring Mode: TP/FTE

Location: Austin, TX [On-SIte]

Client: Google Inc. (Cloud Data Center Engineering)

 [Contract]- $60/hr on C2C

 

Mandatory Skills: Python, Linux, Automation, C++/ Embedded/ RTOS

 

Job Description:

·        Working with development engineers / product owners to understand requirements and find innovative ways to improve and make testing more efficient and effective partnering with engineering teams and developing scalable tools and infrastructure that help engineers develop, test, debug and release software quickly.

·        Person will be involved in automation code reading and testing of automated scripts initially then he should be able to write the code independently after few months.

·        Person should be able to independent from day one and should be able to make proactive decisions whatever is good for the project.

·        Experience in test automation. 

·        Strong debugging skills. 

·        Understand large code base.

·        Detail oriented with good reporting skills. 

·        Background in storage.

·        Programming language – Python (must have), C++ (good to have)

·        OS - Linux servers
