Responsibilities:
Every day, these are the things that the person in this rolewill do successfully:
• Define or improve the look and feel of a mobile or web app
• Work with product owners, client stakeholders, developers, and other designersto create designs that sit at the intersection of business and user needs
• Communicate status of design progress and expected completion
• Effectively communicate with clients, gathering appropriate design requirementsor explaining design choices as needed
• Always put the user first, advocating for them to ensure best user experience
Competencies / Characteristics Displayed
These are the characteristics that we look for in people whocan effectively fill the role:
• Experience designing for mobile apps (Apple and Android) and web apps
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly iterating to exploremultiple designs
• Ability to explain and defend design choices
• Familiarity with UX practices like user testing, prototyping, and interviews
• Exquisite attention to detail
• Ability to explain the design process to non-designers
• Clearly demonstrated time management skills
