Skillset: Information Governance and Data Quality

 

Job Description:

 Leverages Intermediate data management knowledge in support of one or many of the information management practices. This person may be acting in a steward capacity or considered a support role with expertise for the information steward as needed. 

·         Strong technical acumen, with previous experience performing roles such as Decision Science/Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst

·         Experience working with Data Quality field, working with Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, and Information Life Cycle Management

·         Advanced SQL or SAS programming skills

·         Intermediate understanding of the data development life cycle and information management principles (ETL/ELT process, SDLC, metadata management, data quality, etc.)

·         Experience with tools: IBM's InfoSphere platform, Information Governance Catalog, DataStage/Informatica (or other ETL platform), Rally

·         Proven ability to formulate and execute strategic initiatives or programs

·         Ability to assess and analyze information management or process gaps as well as efforts to remediate data quality and evidence data quality metrics performance
