Role: Full Stack Developer Lead Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote Start) Rate: Contract Note : Java Full Stack Developer with AWS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design and lead the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements. • Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving the quality of our products and services • Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from future to current state (as defined by the solutions architecture). • Follow industry and organizational best practices and standards as well as help lead company communities of practice to continuously refine and communicate them. Champion a culture of continuous improvement. • Achieve operational excellence by optimizing and automating processes and designing high quality, resilient, reliable, and supportable solutions • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations. • Implement core capabilities which can be reused across multiple squads and/or tribes. • Operate as a trusted advisor, establishing yourself as a company-wide go-to resource for specific technologies, topics, or domains • Provide coaching, mentoring, and/or training as needed to other members of the company’s engineering community
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience • 8-10 years of technology experience in a combination of engineering, architecture, and/or leadership roles • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in the delivery of strategic and complex technical initiatives. • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders • Experience in AWS (preferred) or GCP, Microservices, Front End UI Development for Mobile & Web • Expertise in Java and SpringBoot is required and strong knowledge of JavaScript is desired. • Advanced understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices • Advanced understanding of object oriented and functional software design • Strong understanding of IT security best practices • Experience working in continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline with Jenkins, Maven or Gradle, GIT, or equivalent.
