Responsibilities 

1. Facilitate joint analysis workshops with customers. 

2. Research and understand DOT business processes and their inter-relationships. 

3. Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements 

4. Assist customers with development of business cases and user stories. 

5. Analyze and design system processes and databases. 

6. Develop business and system analysis and design models using Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect and Visio using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Bus 

engineering, and other methods. 

7. Document application and database specifications. 

8. Liaison between users and technical staff. 

9. Perform oversight reviews of requirements and testing deliverables for compliance with department standards. 

10. Perform application testing, including developing and executing test plans, test cases, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing. 

11. Track and manage work tasks according to project schedules and Team-specific task management processes. 

 

Requirements:

Must-have skills: 3 to 5 years of solid business/systems analysis experience, PMBOK, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Visio, knowledge of State of Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1. 

 

 

Responsibilities:
1.  Research and understand FDOT business processes and their inter-relationships.
2.  Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units.
3.  Gather, business and technical requirements.
4.  Provide project management oversight for team activities.
5.  Collaborate with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents need in support of the solution.
6.  Develop Test Plans and Test Cases.
7.  Conduct User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing. Coordinate Integration Testing of related Applications and/or Systems.
8.  Perform oversight reviews of requirements deliverables for compliance with department standards..

           
 Requirements:        
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid business/systems analysis experience and software development projects is required.
 Ability to perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling.
Use of tools including but not limited to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio are required to perform job specific activities.
  Ability to perform System Analysis & Design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques.
Ability to expertly facilitate joint analysis workshops with customers.
Technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and software development practices and techniques.
Knowledge of State of Florida Project Management Rule 60GG-1.
Ability to apply principles and techniques in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).

Location : Tallahassee,FL (Partial Remote, 2 days a week on site and 3 days a week remote)

Must-have skills:  Visual Studio and/or ASP .NET,  GIS, Azure, Azure SQL, SQL Server and Oracle, Azure DevOps, SQL SSRS, WEB building/monitoring and compliance tools, TFS, ORM, Active Directory and ISA security methods. 

 

Requirements: 

• Experience with .NET  
• At least 5 years of experience in Visual Studio and/or ASP .NET  
• Experience with developing solutions with a GIS component  
• Experience in Azure, Azure SQL, SQL Server and Oracle. 
• Azure DevOps experience. 
• Experience in developing reports utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). 
• An understanding of WEB building/monitoring and compliance tools.

• Provide Oracle PL/SQL programming inclusive of packag stored procedur functions, triggers and views;
• Analyze existing and make recommendations regarding reuse or rebuild existing application and database code;
• Use Visual Studio for server-side code development, use Angular and AngularJS for front-end development, use MVVM / MVC development design patterns, use Team Foundation Server/Azure Dev Ops for source control, version control, task management, etc;
• Provide change management in a code promotion role in partnership with development team;
