JOB TITLE:Back-end / Database Developer-
Location: Southlake Texas
Duration:12+ months
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
• Minimum of five years performing backend / database software development
• Databases- PostgreSQL / InfluxDB / MariaDB
• Excellent SQL skills around large, complex nested SQL queries
• Python / bash scripting
• REST API development
• Understanding of Docker / K8S / Docker Swarm
• Git / Github / GitLab
• Linux System Administration
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (preferred)
• Networking - subnets / firewalls / routing / DNS / Load balancing / haproxy (preferred)
• Experience with OpenStack / OpenShift (preferred)
JOB DUTIES:
• Work as part of our backend team to develop RESTful services, APIs and integrations to other systems.
• Provide expert level database SQL experience to the group
• Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices
• Work to further our efforts around performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
• Turn conceptual requirements into a solid, shippable product
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (preferred)
