Job Description 

Responsibilities: 

·         Responsible for implementationand maintenance of deployment pipelines and deployment strategy from Dev toProduction in an on-premise, hybrid or cloud environment.  

·         Responsible for automatedinstallation and configuration of deployment environments usingChef/Ansible. Preferably using Chef. 

·         Ensuring code readiness and validateagainst checklist for code promotion to higher environment. 

·         Perform technical analysis ofcomplex software, hardware and transmission facility using different diagnostictools. 

·         Ensuring that monitoring and alertsare correctly configured to notify of system issues 

·         Enable Development Teams to have aseamless process for promoting code from development to higherenvironments. 

·         Develop and maintain maintenanceplans to address technical issues, seeking opportunities for improvementand efficiency. 

 

Required Knowledge/Skills: 

·        Strong Experiencein building and maintaining deployment pipelines usingJenkins.  Jenkins, Groovy Scripting. - Mandatory

·        Deep understanding ofinfrastructure and Networking concepts- Mandatory

·        Knowledge of Javaprogramming, Python programming - must have experience of Development

·        Extensive experiencewith cloud infrastructure â€" must have

·        Good understanding ofdata structures and algorithms -Mandatory

·        Gitbash

·         Strongexperience of working in with Agile frameworks â€" Scrum and Kanban. .  

·         Understanding ofMaven/Gradle for application build, application packaging. 

·         Experience with Logging andMonitoring tools â€" Splunk, Dynatrace - for performance analysis or Root CauseAnalysis 

·         Experiencein Configuration Management Tools â€" Chef/Ansible/Puppet. Chef will be desirable. 

·         Experience in Unix Scripting(BASH, ksh) 

·         Experiencein Cloud Foundry, PCF Nice to have

·         Experiencein Azure Nice to have
