Job Description:
As a VMWare Virtualization lead, you will be an exemplary technical leader in your areas of practice. You bring deep experience and strategic insight spanning from Architecture, Design and Development leadership to client facing solution skills which are among the best in the industry. This role is crucial to realizing cutting edge On-Perm, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Capabilities and Solutions for clients worldwide. The role would involve working with highly skilled infrastructure architects and deployment specialists in taking up challenging projects to develop and execute complex solutions for Coforge clients worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to provide technical support to implement project scope
• Hands on experience in setting up new ESXi Hosts & Clusters
• Experience in vRealize Automation,creating Blueprints & customize workflows.
• Good knowledge in scripting using PowerShell
• Knowledge in upgrading vSphere infrastructure
• Should be an excellent team player and self-motivated
• Good knowledge in vSphere replication, SRM,vROps, NSX Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT industry
• Upgrade and Maintain VMWare ESX and GSX servers and virtual sessions
• Work on major severity and complex server issues
• Provide Backup and restore VMWare servers and virtual sessions
• Drive RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission along with planning and implementing fixes / patches • Performance and capacity management on VMWare servers and complex health check-ups
• Perform in 24 x 7 environment in shift roaster and attend calls whenever assigned
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes
• Assume personal responsibility for resolving problems in most effective way possible within SLA reaching root cause and preventing problems
• Adhere to all the account specific technical as well as general process / procedures
• Ensure the Service Requests and all pre-requisite checks are followed diligently Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Working knowledge on Powershell scripting & Ansible automations
• Preferred knowledge on LINUX server’s administration and services
• VMware Horizon VDI Certification.
• VCP Certified
