L2 Production Support

12+ months contract
Rate:- $50 to $55/hr on C2C
Except OPT & CPT all visa open
Role & Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for Production facing business support for applications in the Margin Services business area. You will be responsible for handling day to day business requests, maintaining and improving Production stability, and automation of manual support processes. Also, you will work collaboratively with development and support teams to help automate and streamline our processes and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our Production environments. We are in the process of onboarding an Automation tool and enhancing our monitoring platform and you will be expected to be a major part of these projects.
Minimum Skills:
- Soft skills, dealing with business users, and multiple issues simultaneously
- Strong technical background with scripting knowledge in Windows/Linux environments and in depth knowledge of SQL
- Ability to work independently or collectively and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Preferred Skills:
- Strong scripting in Perl or Python
- A track record of Innovation
- Working knowledge or background with Control-M as part of batch job management
- Strong technical background, preferably with Production support experience, with a strong sense of urgency
- In depth knowledge and experience with SQL and database performance
- A working understanding of code (.Net or Java)
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-available service
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate, and to put together project plans and presentations
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Collateral Management or Margin Applications
- Knowledge of OTC, Repo, Bond and general Fixed Income products trades
