Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Golang Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Go, microservices, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native application development. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to build reliable, high-performance production systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Golang.

·         Build scalable, high-performance distributed applications.

·         Develop event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.

·         Design reliable, highly available, and scalable backend architectures.

·         Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments.

·         Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, automation, and production deployments.

·         Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability.

·         Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

·         Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.

 

Required Skills

·         Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go).

·         Experience building REST APIs, web services, and microservices.

·         Strong knowledge of distributed systems and system design.

·         Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.

·         Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

·         Strong SQL skills with exposure to NoSQL databases.

·         Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.

·         Understanding of software design patterns, OOP principles, unit testing, and integration testing.

·         Ability to work in fast-paced production environments and contribute to existing codebases.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience building cloud-native applications.

·         Strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

·         Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
