Rate: $75/Hr. on C2C

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics or in other similar fields 3+ years working on applied machine learning projects 2+ years using Python or similar languages 1+ years in software development Proficiency in model development, model validation and model implementation

 

Additional Skills

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or a similar field 4+ years applying Machine Learning to solve real-world problems Experience with modern methods for parallelized processing of large, distributed datasets (e.g. Spark, EMR, Sagemaker) Strong CS fundamentals in data management, solution design, algorithm design and SDLC Experience with defining research and development practices in an applied environment Proven portfolio of machine learning solutions with measurable positive outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to convey mathematical concepts and considerations to non-technical stakeholders Financial services, banking, investment background XGBoost (very specific) – not required

Senior Applied Machine Learning Data Scientist

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics or in other similar fields

3+ years working on applied machine learning projects

2+ years using Python or similar languages

1+ years in software development

Proficiency in model development, model validation and model implementation

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or a similar field

4+ years applying Machine Learning to solve real-world problems

Experience with modern methods for parallelized processing of large, distributed datasets (e.g. Spark, EMR, Sagemaker)
