Position: Sr. Java SDET

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Duration: 6 Months

Client: UHG

Rate: $50/Hr. on C2C

Visa: Only USC, GC & H4/GC/L2 – EAD's

 

Required Skills:

Looking for mid-senior level SDET, with good Java, Selenium, and Cucumber experience

Any experience with ATTD and healthcare would be a huge plus!

 

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?

• Writing test plans and test cases.
• Performing hands-on Quality Assurance testing in a web application environment testing User Interface, Database, Web services, APIs, Batch/ETL components.
• Hands-on scripting/coding experience using Java and Java automation testing tools such as Groovy, Selenium, Gatling, Junit, Geb and Cucumber.
• Working with complex XML/JSON, EDI X12, SQL transactions
• Working with the UNIX operating system and writing SQL scripts
• Working in an Agile ATDD environment
• Working closely with Developers and Architects in solving software defects

 

Java coding experience:

• Scripting/coding experience on Java automation testing tools such as Groovy, Selenium, Gatling, Junit, Geb, Cucumber, C++, .Net or other similar tools which uses object oriented programs
• Hands-on testing experience working with complex XML/JSON, EDI X12, SQL transactions
• Hands-on experience working with UNIX operating system and writing SQL scripts

 

What skills/attributes are a must have?

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of Quality Assurance testing experience in a web application environment testing User Interface, Database, Web services, APIs, Batch/ETL components
• 4+ years of experience writing test plans and test cases
• 5+ years of hands-on scripting/coding experience in any one of the below Java automation testing tools such as Groovy, Selenium, Gatling, Junit, Geb, Cucumber, C++, .Net or other similar tools which uses object oriented programs
• 5+ years of hands-on testing experience working with complex XML/JSON, EDI X12, SQL transactions
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with UNIX operating system and writing SQL scripts
• Exposure to agile software development methodologies
• Prior experience in working closely with Developers and Architects in solving software defects
• Experience in creating and implementing testing methodologies, processes to solve testing problem in hand

 

What skills/attributes are nice to have?

• Healthcare industry experience
• Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills; the ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to anticipate problems proactively and take appropriate actions to mitigate negative impact
• Prior hands-on development experience using technologies such as Java/JEE, other Object Oriented programming, Maven etc.
