Required Field(s) of Study: Bachelor degree in telecommunications or equivalent work experience
DESCRIPTION OF MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Five years’ experience in telecommunications to provide the technical and analytical background.
- Working knowledge and experience with design and support of telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including VoIP, SIP, call accounting software, voice mail, IVR, IM and stand-alone video and integrated conferencing. Cisco WebEx, Cisco HD Immersive Video conferencing solutions.
- Knowledge VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, TFTP and related). Working knowledge of converged networks (voice, data, and video) communications and Internet topology including: TCP/UDP/IP, routing, tunneling, PPP, G711, G723, G729, PCM, and mobile IP. Strong knowledge of: 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g. Strong knowledge of MS Active directory and LDAP highly desirable.
- Must understand how integrated video and in room audio and need to work together.
- Demonstrated experience working with RFP’s and vendors is required.
- Working knowledge of current VoIP technologies and their implementations
- Working knowledge of access network issues that impact VoIP performance as well as their measurement and analysis.
Demonstrated experience working in a customer service environment with strong characteristics of initiative flexibility, adaptability and responsiveness to constantly changing environment
