Job Description:

• Proficiency in Python software development
• 5+ years of scripting language development experience in Big Data, Apache Spark,Pyspark/Spark
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
• Designing and developing enhancements to projects, using Pyspark
• Experience building and configuring solutions in Amazon Web Services, including Lambda, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch will be an advantage
• Working in a Linux environment
• Coordinating with team members on the development of large components
• A working knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• A working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL Proficient
• understanding of code versioning tools
