Position: Tableau developer
Locations: Reston, VA & Austin, TX
Duration: 12+ months
Job Description:
· 2+ years developing business requirements for Business Intelligence solutions
· 2+ years creating conceptual dimensional data models focusing on BI and analytics needs – not database design. (This is not a role for a traditional DBA)
· Communication skills are vital
· Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working Experience of Tableau developer.
· 2+ years with SQL desirable but not necessary
· Experience designing BI related “semantic layer” using products such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker or similar highly desired
· Coding experience using Python or RESTFul Web Service is highly desirable but not required
· Understanding of data lake architecture utilizing Parquet files for data storage highly desirable but not required
