Sr. Backend Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Term: Contract

Face to Face required

Any visa is fine


The client is building a backend team now. Towards that end, they need a person to spearhead that
 Thus, we looking for a person with lot of big data experience
a) Senior person who is a self-starter and does not need any hand holding.
b) Has handled large streaming data sets using Cassandra, Spark & Kafka
c) Need to write good scripts using Python or Shell script
d) Strong Java skills
e) Should be Sr Tech Lead or Jr Architect level
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience building scalable applications
10+ years' experience in a development role
Experience working in teams through the full life-cycle of software development through design, development, quality and deployment
Experience with modern distributed systems (Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark)
Modern programming language (Java, Python, Scala, SQL) excellence
Experience with Java, Spring Integration Framework, Apache Solo etc
Experience building fast and responsive web applications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience building scalable applications
