Big Data Engineer
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Term: Contract

Mandatory Skills: Big Data w/ Java & Scala

1) 7 years of proven experience working with Java (Java 8 preferable) & Scala
2) 4 years of proven experience working with Hadoop/Spark technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, HBASE,
Hive, Spark and Cassandra
3) Experience with Python
4) Proven experience in integrating and deploying applications using Cloud Technologies (AWS) -
EMR, EC2, Docker and S3
5) Experience in working with Dynamo DB/NoSQL
6) Solid understanding of data structures, Algorithms & Design Patters will be an added advantage
7) Understanding of different Algorithms & Machine Learning techniques (Neural Network, Deep Learning, Supervised & Unsupervised, Regression, Classification) and their application in batch/real-time will be an added advantage
8) Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
