Role: Jr. Mainframe Developer
Location: Malvern, PA
Duration: Long term

Technical Skills:
  • Work with business and business system analysts to understand requirements for enhancements and production problem areas.
  • Perform expert level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.
  • Have very strong experience in development, deployment and production support of Mainframe- CICS, COBOL, MQ, VSAM, DB2, SQL, stored procedures , DB2 load/unloads
  • Strong knowledge on DB2
  • Strong experience in environment support, monitoring of test cycles and reporting issues. Fixing the issues to ensure SLA are meet.
  • Strong experience with supporting test batch cycles, troubleshooting  failures / problems and providing resolution.
  • Knowledge in Contrl M scheduler tool
  • Experience on managing envs and debugging issues
  • Should quickly grasp existing system architecture and support all technical initiatives related to  databases, data center migration.
  • Performs code reviews and collaborates with technical leads/SME when necessary.
  • Participate in security architecture reviews and risk assessments and resolve any issues identified
