Technical Skills:
- Work with business and business system analysts to understand requirements for enhancements and production problem areas.
- Perform expert level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases.
- Have very strong experience in development, deployment and production support of Mainframe- CICS, COBOL, MQ, VSAM, DB2, SQL, stored procedures , DB2 load/unloads
- Strong knowledge on DB2
- Strong experience in environment support, monitoring of test cycles and reporting issues. Fixing the issues to ensure SLA are meet.
- Strong experience with supporting test batch cycles, troubleshooting failures / problems and providing resolution.
- Knowledge in Contrl M scheduler tool
- Experience on managing envs and debugging issues
- Should quickly grasp existing system architecture and support all technical initiatives related to databases, data center migration.
- Performs code reviews and collaborates with technical leads/SME when necessary.
- Participate in security architecture reviews and risk assessments and resolve any issues identified
