Position 1: DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Client: Cognizant

Duration: Long Term

Must Have Skills: Java, J2EE or Python, Linux Shell scripting, experience building scalable e-commerce applications

Desired Skills:

 

·         Any Elastic Search, Cassandra and/or MySQL is a +. Ansible is a + (Puppet/Chef/Salt are fine though). 

·         Messahing systems like Kafka, rabbitmq. Docker, Jenkins, Sensu exp are all preferred but not required. 

·         3+ years of Linux experience including experience with shell scripting, networking, storage and release management.

·         Large-volume consumer web infrastructure and security experience.

·         2+ years’ experience building and managing a continuous integration environment using GIT, Jenkins and Nexus

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

·         Experience in large scale Web applications. Linux systems experience. Minimum of 3 yrs DevOps experience.

·         Solid programming skills (Java OR Python are strong +'s). Database experience (any NoSQL a +). 

·         Understanding of Networking (load balancers, packet tracers, etc)

·         Knowledge of standard tools like Nagios, Sensu, Jenkins etc.

 

Position 2: Sr. Java Developer

Job Location: Framingham, MA

Client: Cognizant

Duration: Long Term

 

Must Have Skills: Strong J2EE knowledge, Experience with working on standard web based frameworks. Standard implementation tools, very good analytical and trouble shooting skills.

 

Desired Skills: Knowledge of ATG commerce, Ecommerce domain knowledge

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

Perform production support and maintenance.

Participate in incident management support and monitoring

Analyze application performance using various APM tools and figure out anomalies and any impacts

Participate in code review

Bug fixes for the ecommerce application

Support QA environment and production environment.

 

 

Position 3: Java Full Stack Developer

Job Location: Modesto, CA

Client: Cognizant

Duration: Long Term

Must Have Skills: Java, J2EE, Springs, Angular 4, Node JS, React

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

Associate should have 10+ hands on experience on Web Development technology on Angular 2/6, Java/J2EE  , understand existing Java/J2EE, JavaScript Web-codes and enhance application based on requirement. Knowledge on Agile, SQL, PHP, Java and J2EE added advantage. Co-ordinate with client SME, onsite Tech Lead and offshore team including PST & IST time zone for development. Attend daily/weekly scrum call for status updates. Coordinate with client and share the same to offshore development.
