Hello Partners, Hope you are doing well! Our client is seeking a Virtualization and Automation Administrator in Atlanta GA for a Contract role. Please let me know your interest. Duration: 12+ months Application / Platform: VMware and Cisco UCS Description Looking for a Virtualization and Automation Administrator to support a large and complex virtual environment hosting over 900 hosts and 10,000 VMs.  Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions  � Design, setup, and maintain virtual servers and imaging technologies � Automate current processes to streamline deployment of VMs  � Perform capacity management  � Automate the management of the infrastructure  � Design and architect technical solutions and collaborate on projects  � Identify and recommend options for improving performance, maintainability, and operability of existing systems  � Daily administration of systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance to be shared with a senior team of administrators  � Provide OS support, including networking, SAN, Load-Balancing, and applications � Oversee ESX provisioning, configuration management, and patch management  � Implement automation- process, OS builds, and upgrades � Oversee server tuning, capacity management and inventory management � Provide hardware support and Engineering/Architecture/Design guidance. � Maintain ownership and engineering of infrastructure services used to run the environments (i.e. iDracs, vCenter, VMware Ops Manager, VDI, etc.) � Implement and administer server clustering technologies  Qualifications Minimum � Generally 5+ years of experience in related field OR 3-5 years of experience with advanced degree in related field  � Strong working knowledge of VMware systems administration and troubleshooting � Experience with VMware systems using SAN and NAS as the storage backend  � Proficiency in one or more administrative languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python, PowerCLI, etc.  � Knowledge and exposure to network protocols and tools for system side diagnostics  � Knowledge of distributed systems development, tools, and designs  � Knowledge and experience in the administration and operations of large-scale distributed computing environments  � Excellent communication and decision-making skills Preferred- � Experience with VSAN and VROPS  � Experience with automated host installation and configuration enforcement technologies (i.e. Cobbler, KickStart, Puppet, Foreman etc.) Thanks & Regards, Shrish Mishra | VBeyond Corporation  716-442-3700 -507| ShrishM@Vbeyond.com | http://www.vbeyond.com Hangout ID – shrishvbeyond@gmail.com
