Job title: Systems Engineer with DevOps & AWS Number of positions: 1 Location: Lake Mary, FL, Secaucus, NJ or Lake Charles, IL Duration: Long Term Start date: ASAP Seeking a talented, energetic self-starter for a Systems Engineer position. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years systems engineering experience supporting Windows server environments leveraging DevOps tools and concepts. Deep understanding of private and public cloud services on AWS with 2-3 years hands-on work experience in AWS required.  As a Systems Engineer, you will: •      Provide expert level support for highly virtualized Windows environment focused on scale,   availability and security •      Assist in the administration of Active Directory, Exchange and connected infrastructures •      Ability to optimize where possible instead of strictly lift-shift only approach; utilize Ansible to automate application infrastructure leveraging Linux-focused automation frameworks built on Terraform •      Deploy automation technologies and processes to support on-premise and cloud based infrastructures •      Ability to understand application(s) true capacity needs, apply security best practices, use appropriately sized instances; run tests to ensure application is performant and resilient while maintaining a cost effective, dynamic infrastructure. •      Experience with cloud services, such as AWS, potential problems, and how to setup and manage a service in the cloud; ability to leverage AWS managed database service (RDS) •      Experience in monitoring and setting up alerting for cloud components •      Maintain documentation and enforce secure, system policies •      Utilize AWS and Azure tools in a hybrid infrastructure Core Tech Stack    To be considered a good cultural fit, you must be: •      An ambitious self-starter •      Strong desire to solve with automation and self-service •      A very strong and efficient communicator and collaborator •      A problem solver; able to develop quick and sound solutions to complex problems    To be considered a good technical fit, you must have: •      BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field/technical experience •      Expert administration skills in MS Windows server platform technologies (AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO/DFS) •      Experience with AWS services including latest generation AWS instance types, EC2 Autoscaling, Elastic Load Balancers, and RDS to name a few. •      Advanced knowledge in automating Windows platforms leveraging Powershell, C#, or Python •      Strong knowledge of automation and configuration management systems (SCCM, Puppet, Docker, Terraform, Serverless) •      Experience in Cloudformation and codedeploy •      Strong knowledge of supporting MS Exchange infrastructure and associated archiving / security gateway products •      Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP), security and optimization Thanks for doing business with us.
