Azure Cloud Architect

Location:  Schaumburg,IL

Duration:  6 Months Contract

 

must have the experience of producing detailed physical architectures for azure cloud systems including networking, integration/messaging, database and services.

-              Must understand and have experience deploying a complete end-to-end Azure solution that meets non-functional requirements such as HA, scalability, maintainability, etc.

-              Must have experience with large scale implementations migrating and running on Azure cloud.

-              Working knowledge of implementing and configuring for each:

 

  • App Gateway, APIM, Firewalls, VMs, CosmosDB, and AKS Clusters
  • Additionally, SQL Server, and storage would be good to have
  • Networking (vNETs/subnets), & Network Security Groups
  • Routing between components
  • Security controls available within Azure
  • Role based access control (RBAC) and policies for Azure components
  • Best practices based on experience
  • Deployment and automation
  • Powershell, Azure CLI, ARM, & Terraform templates
  • CI/CD tools – Github, docker, Jenkins, etc.
  • Release mgmt. process
