Summary of Opportunity
Client has an immediate need for a Data Modeler for a 6-month contract with our client in downtown Dayton. This individual will provide subject matter expertise for technical guidance, training and direction with a team of development professionals.
Skills and Experience Required:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Translate business needs into data models that integrate with the Enterprise Data Model
2. Develop data models according to enterprise data management practices
3. Ensure the quality of data submitted to regulatory agencies by developing detailed metadata for submissions
4. Design data models for reporting and analytic databases that translate business and regulatory rules and definitions into queryable data structures
5. Design data models for development of new transactional systems
6. Design data models for development of a data warehouse and data marts
7. Reverse engineer data models for existing databases and systems
8. Work with data analysts to identify data issues within the organization and assist in the development plans to resolve data issues
9. Develop and maintain detailed documentation that provides traceability for all enterprise data back to its source
10. Actively participate in projects designed to create record of reference systems for key enterprise data
11. Define and adhere to standard metadata naming conventions
