 Job Summary:
The System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator shall provide SCCM Administration Services for the support of network enterprises, forests, and domains under responsibility. The SCCM Administrator shall provide the following tasks that include, but are not limited to roles and responsibilities listed below:

 

Generate query-based collections and SCCM reports using SQL and WQL.
Monitor all SCCM primary sites and all SCCM clients in order to maintain high service availability.
Create custom test environments to provide proof of concept before implementing into production  Assess existing infrastructure to provide recommendations, and research and integrate new technologies that shall improve the overall quality of service while reducing total cost of ownership.

 

Develop implementation strategies and deployment schedules Maintain and document disaster recovery capabilities and procedures for the SCCM environment.

 

Document enterprise configuration management and preventative maintenance as required Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution, to include but not limited to, issues with site-to-site communication, package distribution, SCCM advanced client and operating system deployment Create complex and dynamic collections, advertisements, queries, reports, other technical documents as required and manage local and remote site boundaries, site systems, site roles, inter-site dependencies and communication.

 

Provide patch management support for enterprise servers.

 

Create, implement, and deploy images for enterprise workstations and servers utilizing technologies Develop and document processes to deploy Zero Touch Installation (ZTI) images for an Enterprise environment utilizing SMS and SCCM Operating System Deployment (OSD) as required.

 

Create custom OSD Task Sequences utilizing Microsoft scripting technologies and components such as Shell, VBScript, WMI, .NET and XML for captured images.

 

Provide Tier 3 technical support for remote SMS Administrators in order to provide in depth troubleshooting for OSD related deployment issues.

 

Communicate with the CAB per protocol, and participate in the change management process as necessary.

 

Build, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Services Update Server (WSUS).

 

Adhere to proper security policies and certification procedures,  Provide consolidated weekly activity reports to who and when. Report shall contain meeting attendance and outcomes, contacts, project progress and potential concerns for organizational items of interest.

 

Other duties as assigned.

 

Hands on experience in Azure, Windows, VMware administration Validate deployment plans for compliance with existing performance limitations of the enterprise server's software.
